All work and no play makes my nexus run ubuntu 13.04
I spend most week in Germany for work, so when I got back I needed to unwind. So I installed ubuntu on my Nexus 7 (don’t ask). It is amazingly fast, I compiled code, ran libreoffice, etc. this all works fine and fast. The battery lifetime is good, I had it running for more the 6 hours without issues, screen mostly on, compiling and running stuff and 43% left. Unity turned out to be kinda buggy, but after switching to gnome3 fallback everything is fine.
Unity running gmpc:
Running GMPC on gnome3:
What works:
- Brightness control
- Battery status
- rotating screen
- Audio
- WiFi
- USB

The current ToDo is:
- Fix multi touch input. (right click mouse, etc.)
- Test bluetooth.
- Size partition. (Current 6Gb big, should resize to 32.. but partition table is unknown.)
