Because of the growing problems with wordpress exploits, spam on the comments and that I cannot easily write post offline then ‘push to publish’, I decided to change to another blogging system.

First I tried pelican, but I had issues with the wordpress import. Greg then adviced me to look at octopress and as visible, the import worked fine. It does take a long time to generate the whole site, but the archive is intact and that is important.

Hopefully this gets me to blog more often.
