Palm Sync, the story continues.

Yes, against all expectation, I am not done complaining yet.
Today I thought “Lets make everything work on my mac mini too”.
Did the mount usbfs thingy, and ran the gpilot wizard: After a segfault (had this on x86 too), it nicely detected the user + userid on the palm. (All good I Thought).
I configured the conduits, and clicked “sync” on my palm….. nothing.

Running gpilot in a console gave me the following output: (many times)
`
gpilotd-Message: setting PILOTRATE=115200</p>

edit it seems it's the same error I had with ppc and usb->serial converter:
dmesg shows this:
[ 1583.023432] visor ttyUSB1: visor_open - failed submitting read urb, error -19
[ 1585.027421] visor ttyUSB1: visor_open - failed submitting read urb, error -19

So I guess the error is in the usb->serial module..

(gpilotd:5223): gpilotd-WARNING **: Unable to bind to pilot
gpilotd-Message: setting PILOTRATE=115200

(gpilotd:5223): gpilotd-WARNING **: Unable to bind to pilot
` and that’s it. Maybe I have the energy to look at it tomorrow, I’ve had it for today. Qball
