i am using gmpc from you PPA. i have a couple of questions.
1) if i go the artist browser, then click on an artist, then on an album of that artist, how can i get back and see all the artists.

You have to unselect the album again.
2) Compile them. I haven’t had time to make packages.
cool thanks.
the clicking again is a bit hard to find once you have an artist and album selected.

If you realize how it works it is logic. Every selection you make filters to left and right. It just is not the “default” way it is done in programs like itunes/rhythmbox
