Registering just this poll is a bit too much work for me, but I thought I’d mention my vote here: I wouldn’t really care for it. The point of podcasts is really moving the shows onto my audio device, and I’m not using MPD for that anyway.

I think podcast support is a good idea, except that it should be implemented as a type of dynamic playlist by mpd, rather than by gmpc.
