Gmpc 0.16.0 memory usage analyse

I have been playing a bit with massif, and a little gnuplot script. Below you see a small analyse of gmpc (on opensuse 0.11 x86_64) connected to my mpd (With 23.000 items in the playlist). First you see gmpc start, connect, fill the playlist and load the taglists. After that you see a huge rise read more »

Stuffkeeper password field

I have implemented (still very simple) support for encrypted fields. It uses gpgme to encrypt the field and decrypt it. (for now it does not implement it own password dialog, so you need to have something installed). a small movie: http://random.sarine.nl/stuffkeeper-password.ogv

Stuffkeeper vala plugin

I am writing, a slightly pointless, vala plugin to test (and fix) the stuffkeeper.vapi file. I now have a working “tag cloud” that listen to added/removed/changed tags and updates accordingly. I have already hit a few errors in the gtk vapi file, and it became clear that I am better of writing the stuffkeeper.vapi file read more »

Donation for a new laptop battery.

My, year old, laptop battery is dead. So I cannot code in the train anymore. So I thought about opening a pay pal account for donations. Several times before people asked if they could make a donation (mostly happy gmpc/gtodo users), so now it is finally possible. If I get enough so I can buy read more »
