I’ve been playing with vala a bit today. It looks nice, but it is some puzzling to get some stuff to work. Alot of small fixes been done since the last release. A small list: * Move to GtkStatusIcon (causes alot of regression, shamefully) but now works on windows. * Remove the Information page, now intergrated in metadata browser * More internal linking, if you click on the title in the header, you go to the song read more

I needed a tool that could record, and playback key and mouse presses on linux with little deps as possible. So the first (and logic) program I tried was the very nice xnee.. But xnee had weird problem, when recording it often didn’t record the ButtonPressEvent. Also the outputted file wasn’t the easiest to adjust read more

Because of my stolen phone (see prev. post), I bought a new one. A Nokia E50, it’s alot cheaper then the phone that was stolen, yet it’s been 10 times more fun. It is from nokia’s buisness line so it has navigation softw. onboard, acrobat pdf reader and much more. But the fun part are read more
