I tried making a view using GtkIconView, but I do have problems with it..
It’s realy slow, so I thought, lets set fixed column width. The moment I set this, I get columns of different width. This is mostly caused by the title under the image.
So I thought lets see if I can ellipsize the label. This is not possible.
Set fixed number of columns, and still the layout gets terrible garbled.
Is there an alternative, yet a little bit smarter icon view widget.
Because this looks just ugly:
